Hello! γεια σας!
I’m Lindsay and I am figuring life out one growing season at a time. The Greek Garden is an exploration of things found in the periphery and jumble of modern life; a heartfelt love for Greece and her people, literature and music, ruins, crumbing houses I find in an off-beat travelogue kind of way; a sense of bookish wonder at the world, a spoonful of tasty food and a shovelful of gardening.
I’m spending more time in Greece now and trying to make it a home. It is a balance that involves a mix of freelance comms projects over at lbford.com and other innovative ways to live/work. With this trade-off, life is more minimalist, more eco-friendly and as a result (hopefully) less complex.
I also write stuff. Some of my fiction pieces have recently been published in lit mags; Another North, Bandit Fiction, The Cabinet of Heed and Emerge Literary Journal….among others.
If you are interested in finding more about the Cycladic Island of Syros I like to hang out on, or want to chat about projects, get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Lindsay
Welcome to the Greek garden – a place to slow down, tread lightly and find a little kefi…Opa!
